TPC commemorates Mother's Day

Sunday was Mother’s Day at The Players. The TPC gave out commemorative pins to the first 10,000 women at the event. “Happy Mother’s Day or Lady’s Day,” shouted volunteers as they handed out the pins.

This year was the first year The Players landed on Mother’s Day so it was the first year the pins were distributed. The volunteers followed strict orders: no men could have the pins whatsoever.

“Can I have a pin for my mom at home?” asked a Sunday morning guest. “Bring your mother with you next year, then you can have one,” replied a volunteer.
